YouRateStreams ("we", "us", "the service") lets you rate and review publicly available livestream recordings from YouTube, Twitch, and Kick. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account info. When you sign in with Google, Twitch, or Discord, we receive your email address and a unique user ID from that provider. We do not receive or store your password.
Your activity. The ratings (1–10) and written reviews you submit, associated with your user ID.
Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) generated by our hosting providers for security and debugging.

How we use it

To attribute your ratings and reviews to your account.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.
To compute aggregate (anonymous) statistics like average ratings.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party services

We rely on these processors to run the service:

Supabase — database and authentication.
Google, Twitch, Discord — sign-in providers.
Fly.io — backend hosting.
Vercel — frontend hosting.

Stream thumbnails and embedded players are served directly by YouTube, Twitch, and Kick and are subject to their own privacy policies.

Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in between visits. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data and contributions until you ask us to delete them. To request deletion of your account and all associated ratings and reviews, email youratestreams@gmail.com and we will process the request within 30 days.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
